John "Putzy" Frederick Rock III of Toronto passed away Wednesday June 4th .

He was born December 10, 1945 in Steubenville the son of the late John F. Rock in 1996 and Agnes (Solomon) Rock in 1964.

Putzy was a 1964 graduate of Toronto High School; had played Taps with his trumpet for the Toronto American Legion and the Toronto VFW.

He had been an agent for the Western & Southern Life Insurance Company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife and dedicated and devoted caregiver, Donna (Utzler) Criss; brothers, Thomas and James Rock.

Putzy is survived by his daughter, Tracy Rock Jonassaint and husband Garvey, grandchildren, G.R. and Maxim Jonassaint, friend and caregiver, David Criss.

Putzy's arrangements and burial at the Toronto Union Cemetery will be private at the convenience of his family. His care is entrusted to the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.
