John F. A"JackA" Haynes, Sr. - Age 86 - of Toronto passed away Wednesday - July 25th at the Trinity Medical Center - East, Steubenville.He was born June 28, 1921 in Toronto the son of the late Christopher and Catherine McGivern Haynes.Jack is a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church - Toronto, the Toronto American Legion Post # 86 and the Toronto Sunrise Senior Citizens Club.He is a 1940 graduate of Toronto High School.Jack is a veteran of the U.S. Army having served his country in W.W.II in the Asian Theatre of Operations.He is retired from the National Steel Corp. - Weirton Steel Co. as a locomotive engineer.Jack was preceded in death by: Parents / Wife - June Lorraine Davis Haynes who passed away in 1996 and whom he married June 29, 1942. / Daughter - Judith Maple / Brother - William Haynes, Sr. / Sister - Margaret Barker.His survivors are:4 Sons: John F. Haynes, Jr. and wife Eulalia of Toronto James F. Haynes and wife Cyndy of Toronto Jerome F. Haynes and wife Donna of Toronto Jeffrey F. Haynes and wife Theresa of Calcutta, OhioDaughter: Janice L. Friday at the funeral home.A Blessing Service will be held at 8:30 A.M. Saturday - July 28th at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Liturgy with Mass 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church with celebrant Monsignor Kurt Kemo officiating. Burial will follow at the Island Creek Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a funeral luncheon at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Toronto following services Saturday. There will be a Chaplain graveside service by the Toronto American Legion. Memorial contributions may be made to: the Judy Maple Foundation - P.O.
