John Dean (John Boy) Flanagan, age 70 of Toronto passed away peacefully in his sleep Friday January 3, 2025.

He was born August 5, 1954 the son of the late Harold (Pappy) Flanagan and Lena (Hood) Flanagan.

John enjoyed enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, spending times with his friends sitting on his porch. He would help anyone if they needed anything. He was a great man.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Harold (Sonny) Flanagan, Paul Stock and Lester Flanagan.

John is survived by his sisters, Mary (Flanagan) Dinch, Eunice (Flanagan) Straight, Betty Grimm, brother, Robert (Bob) Flanagan and aunt Martha "Bugsy" (George) Coffman.

He had many nephews and nieces that loved him very much.

He was loved by many and will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace, we all love you.

Visitation hours for John will be held from 2PM to 4PM January 7, 2025 at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.

A celebration service of John's life will be held at 4PM following visitation hours at the funeral home with speaker Ben Francis officiating.

John's burial will take place at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery at a later date.
