Jon Solomon,68 of Toronto, Ohio passed away on Tuesday July 8, 2025 at Trinity Medical Center west surrounded by his loving family.

Born on June 26, 1957 in Steubenville the son Myrnagene (Locke) Solomon and the late Michael "Mickey" Solomon. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister Joanne (Solomon) Burrier.

Jon was a proud 1975 graduate of Toronto High School. He spent many years working at Stacey's IGA and later he retired from Reisbeck's in Toronto where he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly nature. A lifelong sports fan, Jon found his greatest in joy in cheering on his son Billy at football and baseball games. He also truly loved  spending time with his family especially during the holidays when he could pile his plate high with his mother's home cooked meals which he looked forward to year after year.

Jon is survived by his beloved son, William "Billy" Solomon of Toronto; his devoted companion, Melissa Glenn; brothers Jim Solomon and Joel Solomon, both of Toronto; sister, Judith (Tim) Eddy of Mingo Junction and several nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.

Jon's visitation for family and friends will be held at 5 PM Friday July 25th followed by a memorial service celebrating Jon's life at 6 PM Friday July 25th at the Clarke Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Crowe officiating. Jon's cremation burial will take place Monday July 28th at the Toronto Union Cemetery.
