Joseph P. Maguire, age 82 of Steubenville, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at D & D Quality Care in Weirton, WV.
Born September 17, 1930 in Martin''s Ferry, Ohio, he is the son of the late Joseph P. and Agnes Marie Christ-Mier Maguire. Joseph is Catholic by faith, and is retired from the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. He is a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the United States Air Force.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Rose Marie Dishong Orlando, and his second wife Irene McCartney Maguire.
Joseph''s survivors include a son, Joseph P. Maguire Jr. of Ft. Myers, Fl.; Four daughters, Mrs. Teresa L "Terri" Green and her husband Patrick of Toronto, OH.; Miss Kimberly J. Maguire and Miss Kathleen A. Maguire both of Westerville, OH.; Miss Lisa M. Maguire of Cape Coral Fl.; two sisters, Mrs. Martha M. Maguire of Corpus Christi, TX.; Mrs. Rita Milligan and her husband Ben of Deland, FL.; two grandsons, three granddaughters, and one great-grandson.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Clarke Funeral Home a
