Joyce Elaine Wiley, age 75 of Toronto (Knoxville), OH passed away Friday. February 24, 2017 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH.

She was born September 18, 1941 in Knoxville, OH the daughter of the late Albert C. "Abe" Miller in 2000 and Mary Florence (Meyers)Miller in 2014.

Joyce was a member of the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church where she served as church treasurer, was a choir member, served for many years on the church kitchen committee and a member of the  church's Knotty Bunch.

She was a 1960 graduate of Jefferson Union High School and a 1961 graduate of the Steubenville School of Cosmetology with a degree in cosmetology.

Joyce loved to sew and participate with her husband Jerry in Civil War reenacting.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gerald J. "Jerry" Wiley January 18, 2015 whom she married April 8, 1962 and a sister, Ruth Cairo in 2015

Joyce is survived by her sons, George (Bobbi Jo) Wiley of Toronto (Knoxville), OH and Gerald "Woody" (Laura) Wiley of Ringgold, GA; daughters, Joyce Elaine (Daniel) Boyd of Steubenville, OH and Carole Ann (Kenneth) Gunn of Smithfield, OH; brother, Albert C. (Clara) Miller, Jr. of Carmichaelsls,  PA and a sister, Ruth (Robert) Cairo of Dayton, OH. Eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren survive.

Visitation hours for Joyce will be held 2-4 and 6-8 Tuesday, February 28th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH.  Additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 A.M. Wednesday, March 1st at the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church County Rd. 68, Toronto, OH

A celebration service of Joyce's life will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, at the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church with Pastor Lori Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery next to the church.

Memorial donations in Joyce's memory may be sent to the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church, 159 County Rd. 68,  Toronto, OH 43964
