Lance Marshall Desper, age 32 of Irondale, OH passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV.

He was born December 18, 1982 in Steubenville, OH.

Lance loved life, was loyal to a fault and was a 2001 graduate of Edison Local High School; was preceded in death by his father, David Allan Desper who passed away October 25, 2013, paternal grandparents, Jim and Nancy Desper and maternal grandfather Jerry Thayer.
He is survived by his wife, Kristen Nicole (Snyder) Desper whom he married December 27, 2013; his mother, Maria E. (Thayer) Desper of Irondale, OH; grandmother, Thelma Hicks of Channelview, TX; aunts and uncles, Jerry Thayer of Channelview, TX, Kimberly (Steven)Warrick Ramirez of Humble, TX, Bobbi (Greg) Laudermilt of Channelview, TX, Brenda Crowe of Hammondsville, OH, Lisa (Clifford) Desper Piatt of Asheville, N.C., Erin Desper of Port Harbor, N.C. and the Wendell Reese family of Empire, OH. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Visitation hours for Lance will be held from 3 to 8 P.M. Friday, January 2nd at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto. A celebration service of Lance''s life will be held 8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Ingole and Brother Doug Snyder officiating. According to Lance''s wishes, he will be cremated.
