Laura L. Prosser, Age 64, of Toronto, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at Brightwood Nursing Home in Follansbee following several lengthy illnesses.Laura was born August 21, 1939 in Toronto, Ohio, the daughter of the late Dewey D. and Edna E. Beaver Skinner. She is a member of the Weirton Covenant Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 6906, The Toronto American Legion Auxiliary, and the Toronto Fraternal Order of the Eagles Auxiliary Aerie# 1276.In addition to her parents, Laura is preceded in death by 1 Half- brother Marshall Skinner.Her survivors are:2 Sons: Rick Allen and his wife Sunni of Weirton, WV. David Rood of Toronto, Ohio1 Daughter: Cheryl A. Stock of Toronto, Ohio2 Brothers: Norman Skinner and his wife Mary of Toronto, Ohio Larry Skinner of Utah 2 Sisters: Mrs. Carolyn Bartels and her husband Fred of Knoxville Mrs. Rosalie Cole of Toronto. 2 Half-brothers and 3 half-sisters all of North Carolina. Seven Grandchildren, and one Great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.Family and friends will gather for visitation on Wednesday July 2, 2003 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto, Ohio 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2003 at 1:30 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Lily officiating.
