Rev. Lelon R. Glasure, age 91 of 1551 Twp Rd 428 Toronto, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2003 at the Carriage Inn Nursing Home- Steubenville.Born May 25, 1911 in New Cumberland, Wva, he was a son of the late James and Elda Stocks Glasure. He was a pastor with the Wesleyan Church and held his membership with the Toronto Wesleyan Church. He retired from the Danville Wesleyan Church, but continued his ministry in other pastorates.Surviving are four sons, Lelon F. Glasure and his wife Louise of Toronto, Harold K. Glasure and his wife Maryann Keydendull of Minerva, David W. Glasure and his wife Deloris of West Union, Wva, and Edward E. Glasure and his wife Almadean of Toronto. One daughter Mrs. Martha A"LorenaA" Gleasure Goddard and her husband Walter of Toronto of Toronto, One sister Mrs. Marian Carman and her husband William of Toronto, 20 Grandchildren, 42 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.In addition to his parents, Lelon is preceded in death by his wife Martha E. Rawson Glasure whom he married July 29, 1929 and who passed away on February 9, 1993.
