Leo P. Slowikowski - Age 83 - of Toronto passed away Wednesday July 24, 2002 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.Leo was born in Pennsylvania January 15, 1919 and was the son of the late Frank and Josephine Slowikowski.He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church of Toronto and a member of the Holy Name Society of the church.Leo was retired from Hancock Manufacturing Company as a Press Operator.Leo was preceded in death by his parents and first wife Pauline L. Choma Slowikowski. One daughter Lisa Slowikowski, a brother Anthony Slowikowski, three sisters; Jane Kramarich, Marcella Kondik and Theresa Warzynski also preceded Leo in death.His survivors are:Daughter: Mrs. Robert (Jane) Hanuscin of TorontoBrother: Zigmond Slowikowski and wife Olive of Weirton, WV.Grandson: Doug Hanuscin of Shelby, OhioGrandson: Greg Hanuscin and wife Kim of Avon, OhioGranddaughter: Danielle Dobbs and husband George of Avon, Ohio5 Great GrandchildrenFriends and family will be received for visitation Thursday July 25, 2002 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto, Ohio.A Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.A Blessing Service will be held at 9:30 AM Friday followed by Funeral Liturgy With Mass at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, North River Avenue Toronto with Monsignor Kurt Kemo as officiant.Burial will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery, Toronto.Contributions in memory of Leo may be given to St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church or St. Francis Central School.
