Leroy Rood - Age 63 - of Empire, Ohio, died Wednesday - February 7, 2001 at his residence of natural causes.
He was born May 30, 1937 in Reedsville, Ohio the son of the late Herbert Rood, Jr.
He is a member of the Toronto V.F.W. Post # 6906.
He is retired as an employee of the Village of Stratton, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his father, his wife - Louise Homola Rood in 1985 and a brother - Derrell Rood in 1999.
Survivors are: Son: David Rood of Toronto, Ohio Dau: Cheryl Palamino of Steubenville, Ohio Mother: Alice L. Barber Rood of East Liverpool, Ohio 1 Brother: Gary Rood and wife Judy of Wintersville, Ohio 3 Sisters: Lydia Belle Channels of Toronto, Ohio Mrs. James ( Delores ) mays of Wellsville, Ohio Mrs. Michael ( Barbara Jean ) Prosperi of Tampa, Florida Six Grandchildren One Great-grandchild Visitation hours will be from 2-4 on Saturday - February 10, 2001 followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM all at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main Street, Toronto, Ohio. 740-537-1234 0r 800-588-1446 Pastor Robert Hanze officiating Obituary on line at www.altmeyer.com
