Linda A. Lemasters, age 65 of Steubenville, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at her home.Born July 22, 1943 in Steubenville, she is a daughter of the late William and Arzella M. Peters Alvis. Linda was a member of the American Legion Post # 33 in Steubenville, the Steubenville Moose Lodge # 619, and she was a volunteer for the Urban Mission. She was a homemaker and a protestant by faith.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Lemasters, whom she married July 31, 1967 and who passed away September 12, 2000. She is also preceded by one brother Bill Alvis, and three sisters, Joan Alvis, Sheila Alvis, and Sue Norris.Linda is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Tomi Skeens and her husband Mike of Toronto, Mrs. Tammy Stout and her husband Jim of Wintersville, and Mrs. Susan Oliver and her husband Kenny of Mingo Jct. A son, Lee Lemasters and his wife Carla of Steubenville, four sisters, Mrs. Darlene Hoover of Steubenville, Mrs. Kathy Mills and her husband Willard Jr. of Steubenville, Mrs. Debbie Kopras of Wintersville, and Mrs. Cindy Gilleron and her husband Victor of Steubenville. Nine Grandchildren, Brett Lemasters, Nick Lemasters, Joe Lemasters, Nikki Skeens, Josh Lemasters, Jessica Stout, Matt Stout, Shaylynn Lemasters, and Carlee Lemasters.
