Linda Alberta Bowers, age 78 of Toronto passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Weirton Medical Center.

She was born July 12, 1943 in Toronto the daughter of the late Dean Peach and Virginia Mary (McCourt) Foresh.

Linda was a long time and faithful member of the North River Avenue Christian Church (Crossroads Christian Church, Toronto Campus) .

She retired as a cook for the Edison Local School District and she loved to play cards.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Robert Bowers in 2012 whom she married August 7, 1961; great-grandson, Henry Robert Bowers; brothers, John and Lloyd Joseph Peach and a sister, Jean Goetz.

She is survived by a son, Robert A. (Janine) Bowers of Adena; daughter, Laura (James) Schoonover of Carrollton; seven grandchildren and seven great -grandchildren and brothers, Jerry and George (Cindy) Peach all of Toronto.

Visitation hours for Linda will be held 3-6 PM Thursday, October 7th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto.

A celebration service of Linda's life will be held 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Pritchard officiating.
