Linda Kay Peterson - Age 50 - of Wellsville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday - April 22, 2003 at the Trinity Medical Center-East, Steubenville.She was born June 11, 1952 in Steubenville the daughter of the late Austin W. A"BillA" Lamp who passed away in 1994 and Betty Whaley Lamp who survives.Linda is a member of the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church of County Road 68 - Toronto. She also had served as secretary to the church Executive Board and had been President Control of the Sugar Grove Methodist Youth Fellowship.She was an avid hunting and fishing enthusiast. She had served as treasurer and was a long time member of the Columbiana County Fish and Game Association. She was a member of the Mahoning Valley Trap League. She was a 1970 graduate of the former Stanton Local High School. She was a member of the East Liverpool Y.M.C.A.Linda had been employed as Office Manager and Agent for the former Frank Comito Insurance Agency in Toronto where she started in 1970 and then was Office Manager and Agent for the former Cetosky Insurance Agency until August 1989 at which time she became Office Manager and Agent for the Joe Keenan State Farm Insurance Agency in Toronto. She was employed at the Keenan Agency until August 2002 leaving because of illness.Her survivors are:Husband: David T. Peterson of the home whom she married June 21, 1975Mother: Betty Whaley Lamp of Toronto.Sister:Mary Jane Mathess and husband Scott of Toronto.Several nieces and nephews including Julie Gerkins of Kent, Ohio and Eric Gerkins of New Somerset, Ohio Friends and family will be received for visitation Thursday 6-8 / Friday 2-4 & 6-9 at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. - Toronto. 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446.A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M.
