Linda Rae
(Rawson) Goodrich
May 5, 1942 – July 17, 2019
Linda Rae (Rawson) Goodrich went to be with the Lord on July 17th, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. Linda was born May 5th, 1942 in East Liverpool, Ohio to James Wylie and Olive Jean (Burchfield) Rawson. She studied piano with Mary Morton then advanced to piano and organ at Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music and Carnegie Mellon University. Linda taught piano in Toronto for nearly 35 years. She taught in Mohrsville, Pennsylvania and Cedar Hill, Texas as well. She was a former dean of the Wheeling chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Linda was an accomplished organist at several churches including Toronto Presbyterian Church, LaBelle View United Methodist Church and St. Paul Episcopal Churches in Steubenville, as well as St. Michael Episcopal Church in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, St. Anne Episcopal Church in Desoto, Texas, and Good Shepard Episcopal Church in Cedar Hill, Texas. She was also the proprietor of Rae-Linn's Flower Shop and Rae-Linn's Executive Recruiting. She was preceded in death by her parents – James and Olive, her sister – Rebecca (Rawson) Thornberry, her brother-in-law – Charles Thornberry, and her nephew – James Timothy Rawson. She is survived by her husband of 60 years – Carl Goodrich, her brother - James Timothy Rawson and wife Pan Yang, her son – Mark Goodrich. Grandchildren – Christopher Goodrich and wife Lorraine, Jonathan Goodrich, Olivia Goodrich, Sheena Isenhoff, Kayla-Marie Isenhoff and Kenneth McMannis. Great-grandchildren – Jonathon Goodrich, Mark Eliseuson, and Mahkaylah Isenhoff.
Visitation hours for Linda will be held 2-4 & 6-8 Wednesday, July 24th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto.
A celebration service of Linda's life will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, July 25th at the funeral home with Father Steven McKeown officiating. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery.
