Margaret V. Coil - Age 82 - of State Route 213 Toronto, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2002 at her home of natural causes.She was born November 22, 1919 in Fly, Ohio, the daughter of the late Merlin and Emma Franz Starkey.Margaret is a member of the First Westminster Presbyterian Church of Steubenville and the Helen Martin Circle of the church.She is a 1938 graduate of Toronto High School.Margaret was a Union Glasscutter and had worked for the former Gill Brothers Glass Co. in Toronto.She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Cyrus "Cy" Benjamin Coil who passed away December 15, 1992. 2 Brothers, Donald and Vernon Starkey and 4 sisters, Thelma Hissom, Norma Rosenlieb, Clara Allison and Ruby Starkey preceded Margaret in death as well.Margaret''s survivors are:Husband: Edwin P. "Doc" Coil at home whom she married September 20, 19472 Sons: Mark Coil and wife Diane of Toronto Wayne Coil and wife Judy of Toronto2 Daughters: Norma West and husband Walter of Toronto Tracy Kellermier and husband Harry of TorontoSister: Leila Francy of Toronto11 Grandchildren and 3 Great-grandchildrenFriends and family will be received for visitation 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday September 13, 2002 at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto, Ohio 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday , September 14, 2002 at the funeral home with Reverend Robert Shearer officiating. Burial will follow at the Island Creek Cemetery, Church Road Toronto.Memorial contributions in memory of Margaret may be made to the City Rescue Mission, 142 N. Sixth Street, Steubgenville, Ohio 43952.
