Margaret E. A"PegA" Meyer, age 79 of Toronto, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Country Club Manor - Steubenville.Born May 10, 1928 in Toronto, she is a daughter of the late George C. and Sarah Elizabeth A"LibA" Barnes. She is a 1946 graduate of Toronto High School, and worked many years as a volunteer for the Toronto Emergency Medical Services (TEMS). Peg has been a member of the North River Avenue Christian Church for over 50 years where she has served in many areas; President of the Deaconesses, Secretary for the Missionary Society, Co-Chairman of the Annual Toronto Teachers Luncheon. She is also a member of the Red Hat Society.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband George B. Meyer, whom she married June 3, 1949 and who passed away September 5, 2005; and two brothers, Harold A"HankA" Barnes, and Robert Barnes who was Killed in Action while serving as a pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WW II.Peg''s Survivors include, her two daughters, Mrs. Deborah Wells and her husband Pat of Toronto, and Mrs. Diana Warner and her husband Bill of Atglen, PA. A son David Meyer and his wife Lynn, sister Mrs. Dorothy Beatty, and an Aunt Mrs. Mildred L. Sciance, all of Toronto. Six Grandchildren: Major Christopher H. Warner MD and his wife Carolynn of Richmond Hills, Georgia, Mrs. Heather Gohlich and her husband Captain Dave of Vilsic, Germany, Joshua Meyer and his wife Jennifer of Toronto, Caleb Meyer of Findlay, Ohio, Jordon Meyer and Hannah Meyer of Toronto, 8.5 Great-Grandchildren, and many Nieces and nephews.Family and friends will gather for visitation on Saturday, June 2, 2007 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. Toronto. 740-537-1234/800-588-1446A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the funeral Home with Pastor Robert E.
