Marguerite J. "Peg" Love, age 90, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Tuesday February 14, 2012 at the Calcutta Health Care Center, Calcutta, Ohio.She was born April 6, 1921 in East Liverpool, Ohio the daughter of the late Paul and Blanche Zirkle Van Fossan.Peg was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Toronto and had been active in the Toronto Band Mother''s organization for several years. She loved to do needlework and crewel embroidery.She was a 1940 graduate of the East Liverpool High School and was retired from the Homer Laughlin Pottery in Newell, West Virginia and had also been employed as a secretary.Peg was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Nancy Ann Love; brother Donald Van Fossan and a sister Gereldine Myler.Her survivors are her husband Edward L. Love whom she married November 23, 1943; daughter Cheryl L. (Thomas) Cox of Boulder, Colorado and granddaughter Amy (Alejandro) Siemel of Boulder, Colorado.A memorial service for Peg at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto, Ohio and burial at the Riverview Cemetery in East Liverpool, Ohio will be held at a later date.
