Mario G.''''Muggsy'''' Florian - Age 75 of Steubenville, died Wednesday December 5, 2001 at the West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was born December 26, 1925 in Steubenville, the son of the late Hector Florian aand Mary Musitelli Florian Saladini.
Mario served in the U.S. Merchant Marine during W.W.II.
He is retired from the I.B.E.W. Local Union #246 - Steubenville after 50 years of service.
Mario was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Ida Wier.
His survivors are: Wife: Shirley F. Everly Florian at home whom he married January 22, 1946. 1 Daughter: Mrs. Ray ( Linda Kay ) Costello of Toronto 1 Son: Danny Mario Florian and wife Linda of Florida 1 Sister: Rena Durbin of Steubenville Step-Mother: Agnes Florian of Pottery Addition Grandchildren: Mrs. Anthony ( Tracy L. ) Vazquez Mrs. Joseph ( Shanley Marie ) Allen Valerie Swick Steve Swick Great-Grandchild: Jonathan Vazquez Friends and family will be received for visitation 2-4 & 7-9 PM Sunday at Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main Street, Toronto, Ohio. 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446 A funeral service will be held Monday - 1:00 PM at Clarke Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Hanze officiating. Burial will follow at the Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville. Military graveside honors by the Toronto American Legion.
