Mark A. Keenan, age 65 of Empire passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.

He was born June 19, 1955 in Steubenville the son of the late Wayne Leroy Keenan, Sr.

Mark was a member of the Port Homer Community Church; loved to fish and hunt plants in the woods; was an avid Steeler and Ohio State football fan; was a graduate of the Edison Local North High School in 1972 and was a self-employed carpenter well known throughout the Ohio Valley.

He is survived by his wife, Dana Marie (Zediker) Keenan whom he married September 7, 2019; mother, Frances (Howell) Keenan of Rogers, OH; sons, Mark (Sam) Keenan and Greg Keenan all of Toronto; brothers, Wayne L. Keenan, Jr. and his wife Meloney of Toronto and Kevin L. Keenan of Stratton and sister, Jill L. (Jim) Keenan – Chismark of Rogers, OH. Eleven grandchildren also survive.

Visitation hours for Mark will be held 2-4 & 6-8 Wednesday, April 28th followed by a celebration service of Mark's life at 8 PM with Mr. John Keenan officiating.

Interment will be held at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery at a later date.

Masks and social distancing at the funeral home will be enforced for the safety of all without exception. Thank you for your cooperation.
