Martha C. Rossiter, age 87 of Toronto, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2006 at Catherine''s Care Center - Steubenville.Born June 20, 1918 in Toronto, she is a daughter of the late Oscar F. and Cora Myers Craig. Martha is a 1936 Graduate of Toronto High School. She Earned Her Bachelor''s Degree form Muskingum College on June 11, 1940, and her Master''s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She returned home to teach Speech and English at Toronto High School, and retired after 27 years of service. She is a member of the Toronto Retired Teacher''s Association.She is a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Toronto, and was advisor and member of the Church''s Martha Circle where she remained active until her health did not permit her to attend.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wilmont J. Rossiter who passed away August 1, 1976. A brother, Paul Craig, a sister Dorothy Craig Thompson, an infant child, and three nephews, James, William, and Paul Craig.Martha''s survivors include two nephews, George M. Wise of Toronto, OH. And John Rossiter of Florida. Two nieces, Ms. Mary Agnes Kincaid of San Antonio, Texas, and Ms. Martha Hawthorne Black of Cincinnati, Oh. Her nephew''s wife Ms. Jane Thompson of Florida, and several Great nieces and nephews.Family and friends will gather for visitation on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. Toronto, Ohio. 740-537-1234/800-588-1446A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev.
