Mary K. Mihalik Cunningham, age 88 a homemaker of Stratton, OH passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the Steubenville Country Club Manor.

She was born May 24, 1930 in Stratton, OH

Mary was a member of the Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church, Steubenville, OH; belonged to the Protection of the Blessed Virgin Sisterhood and had been employed at the Acme Craftware Pottery of Wellsville, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Katherine Mihalik; husband, Donald B. Cunningham whom she married August 27, 1953; brothers, Michael, George, Joseph and John and sisters, Anne and Sue.

Mary is survived by her sons, Douglas (Christine) Cunningham of Stratton, OH and Kenneth (Becky) Cunningham of Avon Lake, OH; grandson, Vincent (Tanya) Cunningham of Mechanicstown, OH; granddaughter, Jaime (Philip) Garuccio of Columbiana, OH; great-grandsons, Dominic, Trenton and Zane; great-granddaughter, Chessa and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours for Mary will be held 2-4 & 6-8 Monday, August 13th and from 10 – 11 Tuesday August 14th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH.

A Panikhida service will be held at 6:30 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

A funeral service for Mary will be held 11 A.M. Tuesday, August 14th at the funeral home with celebrant The Very Reverend John Kopcha officiating.  A burial service will follow at the Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV.
