Mary E. Straka - Age 90 - of Ft. Myers, Florida, a former resident of Toronto, died Tuesday - February 5, 2002 at the Hospice House North, North Ft. Myers, Florida.
She was born August 8, 1911 in Irondale, Ohio, the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Plahita Banik.
Mary is a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church of Toronto. She is also a member of the Catholic Womens Club and Holy Rosary Society of the church.
She was preceded in death by:
Parents / Husband - Andrew J. Straka, Sr. whom she married May 7, 1929 / 2 Sisters: Anna Karovic and Helen Banik / Grandson - William Maffett.
