Maxine M. Jackson, of Toronto, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at her home.Born in Smithfield, Ohio, she is a daughter of the late Michael and Julia Ann Elliott Turick Sr. Maxine was a member of St. Joseph''s Roman Catholic Church in Toronto where she was active with the Women''s Club and Adoration. She is retired from the B.B.M. Corporation of Youngstown, Ohio and had also worked for the former G.C. Murphy Company in Toronto.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death her husband, Herman W. Jackson, whom she married July 3, 1947 and who passed away in 1979. A Grandson, Sammy Joe Hunter who passed away in 1997, a brother Richard Turick, and a sister Mildred Woodrow.Maxine is survived by two sons, Gary Jackson and his wife Paula of Toronto, and Kevin Jackson and his wife Penny of Marion, Ohio. A daughter Ms. Debra Montgomery of Steubenville, a brother Michael Turick Jr. and his wife Joann of Toronto, Five Grandchildren and Five Great-Grandchildren.Family and friends will gather for visitation on Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 6-8 PM and on Monday, October 27, 2008 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Clarke Funeral Home a
