Melanie Kay Rawson, age 52 of Waverly, OH, a former Toronto resident passed away suddenly Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Adena Pike Medical Center, Waverly, OH.

She was born April 12, 1964 in Steubenville, OH the daughter of the late Harold and Wanda (Petty) Rawson.

Melanie was a 1983 graduate of Jefferson Union High School and loved to do crafts.

She is survived by her sons, Vincent " Skeet" (Angela Burns) Search of Steubenville, Michael W. (Niki ZuBay) Search of East Liverpool, Steven C. (Cary Eckard) Search of Toronto, Obie W. (Katie Disario) Search of Weirton and Zakery A. Search of Toronto; grandchildren, Ryley, Rachelle, Olivia, Emma and Landen;  companion, James McCourt of Waverly; brother, James Rawson of Toronto; sister, Connie (Tim) Meyer of Toronto; nephews, Jeffrey Meyer, and James "Bub" Rawson, Jr. and niece Jamie Stewart.

Visitation hours for Melanie will be held 4 -7 P.M. Wednesday, January 25th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto

A celebration service of Melanie's life will be held 7 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Reverend Steve Modranski officiating.
