Melissa Jane Davis, age 53 of Toronto, OH passed away May 6, 2017.

She was born on August 10, 1963 in Steubenville, Ohio the daughter of the late John Thomas Davis and Nancy Jane (Utzler) Davis. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Kelly (Davis) Spence.

Melissa was a 1982 graduate of Stanton Local High School.

Melissa had a delightful sense of humor and liked to joke. She enjoyed family gatherings and loved being with children. She will be sadly missed.

Melissa's arrangements were private and were in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto, OH.

Melissa's private interment was held at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery.
