Michael A. Payton, age 66 of Toronto, Oh passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born January 11, 1953 in Gassaway West Va. the son of the late Clarence Jr. Payton Betty Louise (Owens) Payton.

Mike graduated from Farmington High School in 1970 Farmington West Va.

Mike was a mechanic by trade loved working on cars when he could and also loved hunting, fishing, playing pool, and especially loved spending time with his family and in-laws.

He was preceded in death by two Brothers Clarence (Butch) Payton, Robert (Bobby) Payton and his Nephew Todd Payton and Sister in law Becky Watson.

Mike is survived by his wife, Cindy Colleen (Watson) Payton whom he married August 6, 1983 daughters Megan (Guy) Blancato of Toronto; Missy Carmen of West Virginia his grandchildren Allytheia Dawn Blancato, Derrek Blancato, Dalton, Shayna, Derek and Sophia. Two great grand-daughters, two sister in laws Carolyn & Lee Ann Payton of West Virginian, Brother Larry (Linda) Payton of West Virginia, Brother in law Gary (Julie) Watson and brother in law Richard Watson all of West Virginia. Mike is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; Father and Mother in-law John and Pat Watson of Pine Grove W.Va.

Visitation hours for Mike will be held 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Tuesday August 20th at Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main street Toronto, Ohio.

A celebration service of Mike's life will be August 20th at 4:00 pm at the funeral home with Reverend Jason Gorney officiating.

Burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
