March 5, 1937 – November 10, 2020
Mollie Jean Merideth, age 83 of Toronto passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.
She was born March 5, 1937 in Pickwick Dam, TN the daughter of the late William L. and Josie Loraine (Hovater) Suddith.
Mollie was a member of the Hill Top Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Women's Association and the Mariners of the church. She loved to read, see her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved to go to the Marietta High School reunions where she had been a graduate and was retired as a teacher's aide in the Edison Local School District.
In addition to her parents, Mollie was preceded in death by her son, Robert "Rob" William Merideth in 2005 and brothers, Jimmie and Johnnie Suddith.
Mollie is survived by her husband, Robert E. Merideth whom she married September 14, 1957; daughters, Melissa (Robert) Schilling of Venore, TN and Traci (Jim) Sanders of Richmond, OH; son, Scott (Tabitha) Merideth of Toronto; daughter-in-law, Katherine J. Merideth of Shippensburg, PA; grandchildren, Ryan (Nina), Andrew Daniel (Shelby) Schilling, Merideth, Catherine (Jenna Clapham), Shane Sanders, Delaney. Jocelyn and Hunter Merideth, Jessica (Chris) Shane; great-grandchildren, Lucy, Knox, Landon, Harper and Emma Jean.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Hill Top Presbyterian Church, 110 County Rd. 46, Toronto, OH 43964 or St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678 or Melanoma Research Foundation, 1420 K Street 7th floor, Washington, DC 20005.
