Myra Jane "Molly" Prosko, age 85 of Toronto (New Somerset), Ohio passed away Sunday October 12. 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Molly was born December 23, 1939 the daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred Mellott Urich.
She is a member of the Saint Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church of Toronto and was a graduate of the Irondale High School. She had been employed at the following: nurse's aide at the former Gill Memorial Hospital; dietician at the former Saint John's Hospital; advertisement specialist at the Steubenville Herald Star; nurse's aide at the Tilton House and as an aide at the Stanton Local High School.
Molly loved to do floral designs for special occasions and made her own Christmas ornaments.
In addition to her parents, Molly was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edward "Jeep: Prosko in 2019 whom she married Jully 11, 1959; son, John Edward Prosko in 1980; brother, Joseph Urich and sister-in – law, Carolyn Diane Urich.
Molly's loved ones are her sons, Joseph "Joey" Prosko and David "Davey" Prosko and sister Suellen Pilutti and husband Jim and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will gather for Molly's visitation from 3 PM to 7 PM Thursday October 16th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto. A Parastas Service will be held at 4 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
A Panachida Service will be held 9:15 AM Friday October 17th at the funeral home followed by a Solemn Divine Liturgy 10 AM at the Saint Joseph Byzantine Church, 814 N. Fifth Street, Toronto, Ohio with officiant the Reverend Father David Bosnic.
Interment will follow at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery County Road 68, Toronto (Sugar Grove).
Memorial contributions in memory of Molly may be made to the Valley Hospice, 10686 Route 150, Rayland, OH 43943.
