Myrta V. Logan - Age 85 - of Toronto, Ohio, died Sunday March 18, 2001 at the Carriage Inn of Steubenville, Ohio
She was born March 8, 1916 in Toronto, Ohio, the daughter of the late Raymond and Bessie Gritton Lewis.
She is a member of the former Fosterville United Methodist Church of Toronto ( now joined with the Riverview United Methodist Church of Toronto)
She is a 1934 graduate of Toronto High School.
She served as a Red Cross Gray Lady Volunteer at the former Gill Memorial Hospital - Steubenville, Ohio and as a R.S.V.P. volunteer at the Lancia Villa Royale Nursing Home in Steubenville, Ohio.
She was a former employee of: the former Empire Dry Cleaning Co. - Toronto and the former G.C. Murphy Co. of Toronto. She was preceded in death by: Husband - Howard Logan in 1974 whom she married June 10, 1940 / One brother- John Lewis and one sister - Florence Lewis. Her survivors are: 1 Son: Ronald Logan and wife Kathy of Toronto 1 Grandson: William Logan of Toronto Visitation hours will be from 2-4 & 7-9 Wednesday at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main Street - Toronto, Ohio. 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday- March 22, 2001 at the funeral home with the Reverend Michael Baldwin officiating. Burial will be in the Toronto Union Cemetery - Toronto, Ohio.
