Nancy Jean Nale, age 84 of Toronto OH passed away Tuesday, August 09, 2022 surrounded by her loving daughters. She will join her beloved husband, Ned who she missed very much, the love of her life.

She was born December 19, 1937 in Wheeling, WV the daughter of the late Orlando and Rena (Baccheschi) Cassandra.

Nancy was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church of Toronto, OH and was a member of the church's Catholic Women's Club having served in the church kitchen preparing food for various church activities. She loved to cook and make quilts for her family and loved going on cruises. She had been employed by the Franciscan University as a cook.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ned D. Nale whom she married July 6, 1957.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Sherry (Joseph) Neeper of Toronto, OH and Shanly (Patrick) Lynskey of Steubenville, OH; son, Rick Nale of Bloomingdale, OH; sisters, Sally Tommas of Huron, OH, Patti Copeland of Follansbee, WV and Shirley (Phillip) Prosperi of Steubenville, OH; brother, Jerry Cassandra of Wellsburg, WV; grandchildren, Melissa (Eli) Trimmer, Megan (Aaron) Prozenano, Justin (Lauren) Neeper, Tyler (Ann) Lynskey, Cody G. Lynskey and Kelly Anne Lynskey and nine  great-grandsons.

A Memorial Funeral liturgy with Mass will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, August 18th at the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Toronto with Celebrant Reverend Father Thomas Vennitti officiating. Ned's and Nancy' cremations will be placed in their niche at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery following the Memorial Mass Thursday.
