Neva L (Jo). Sciance, age 92 of Weirton, formerly of Toronto, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the Trinity Medical Center West – Steubenville.

Born February 21, 1923 in St. Mary's, West Virginia, she is a daughter of the late John and Julia (Shaffer) Sciance. She was a member of the North River Avenue Christian Church for over 79 years and was retired from the National Steel Corporation – Weirton Steel Division where she worked as an inspector in the Tin Mill Division.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, Chester, Raleigh, Ernest, Eugene; and three sisters, Audrey, Juanita, and Thelma (Betty).

Jo is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Nancy J. Nagy and her husband Tom of Follansbee, WV., a granddaughter, Mrs. Laura Badanes and her husband Kevin of Raleigh, NC, and a grandson Steven of Pittsburgh, PA.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the Clarke Funeral Home 302 Main St. Toronto, Ohio 43964 (740) 537 1234 from 12:00 PM until the celebration of Jo's life service at 2:00 PM. With Pastor Matthew E. G. Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Island Creek Cemetery.
