Obituary

Nina Gail Kavanagh, age 83 of Toronto passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville.

She was born July 27, 1936 in Toronto the daughter of the late Charles C. and Wilda Evelyn (Vance) Andrews.

Nina was a member and in the choir of the First United Methodist Church ,Toronto, Daughters of America Star of the Valley No. 48, Toronto Sunrise Senior Citizens and an active member of the Toronto Fraternal of Eagles Auxiliary Aerie # 1276. She was a 1955 graduate of Toronto High School.

She served as a presiding judge at a polling post and was retired from the Ohio Edison Co. (First Energy) Sammis Plant, Stratton as a storeroom clerk.

Besides her parents, Nina was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Swiger; second husband, John Kavanagh; sisters, Betty Youmans and Charlene Beatty and a brother, Harry C. Andrews.

She is survived by her daughters, Debra Timko of Toronto and Suzanne Kavanagh of Columbus; granddaughter, Nicole Timko of Toronto; grandson, Jeremy Timko of Toronto; great-granddaughters, Laila and Gracie Timko of Toronto; sister, Margaret "Peg" McCartney of Toronto.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of

Nina Gail Kavanagh will be held 1 pm Saturday August 29th

at the First United Methodist Church, corner of Main and Sixth Sts., Toronto, OH.

The church will open at 12 pm (noon) for visiting

with the family. Interment of Nina's cremains at the Sugar

Grove Union Cemetery will follow the service at the church.

Fellowship and refreshments will be held at the Toronto

Eagles upstairs hall, 112 N. Fourth St., Toronto following the service

and interment.

All are invited to attend

Nina's arrangements are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.
