Norma Jean Skinner, age 59 of Wintersville, formerly of Toronto, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2006 at Weirton Medical Center - Weirton.Born September 10, 1946 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, she is a daughter of the late Joseph and Eliza A"CarolA" Rymer Talkington. She is a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Clarksburg, and is a past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Aerie # 1276 in Toronto. Norma was a volunteer with the Alive Shelter for many years, and is retired from the former Levelor Company. She is protestant by faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant sister.Norma Jean''s survivors include her husband, Elweyn G. Skinner of the home, whom she married September 1, 1997. A son W. Neil Messenger of Toronto, and a daughter, Mrs. Lisa D. Keenan and her husband Todd of Toronto. Eight Grandchildren, Kaylee Burch of Toronto, Eric Walter Jr., Frank Walter, Lisa M. Walter, Joseph Walter, and Wilson Walter, all of Empire, Ohio and Marina Keenan and Alayna Keenan, both of Toronto, a brother Donald Talkington of Clarksburg, West Virginia, three nephews, several nieces and her pet poodle''s, Lucky and Missy.Family and friends will gather for visitation on Monday, August 28, 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. Toronto 740-537-1234/800-588-1446. The Toronto Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, Aerie # 1276 will conduct services at 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Robert E. Hanze officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery.
