Norvel R. Anderson - Age 87 - of Steubenville passed away Thursday - January 26, 2006 at the Trinity Medical Center West Steubenville.He was born March 19, 1918 in New Cumberland, West Virginia the son of the late Floyd A. and Mary K. Jacobs Anderson.Norvel is a 1939 graduate of Toronto High School and has memberships in the following organizations: Life Member of the Toronto American Legion Post # 86 / Polish National Alliance Club # 652 of Steubenville / Toronto Order of Eagles Aerie #1276 / Steubenville Loyal Order of Moose.He is a veteran of W.W.II having served in the U.S. Army.Norvel is retired from the Con Rail Railroad Co. - Mingo Jct., Ohio as a railroad conductor for 37 years.He was preceded in death by: First wife - Minnie Rebich Anderson who passed away in 1976 and his second wife - Anna M. Karpowicz Anderson who passed away Sept. 22, 2005 and whom he married July 2, 1977. He was also preceded in death by a step-son - James Mulholland who passed away in 1999, five brothers -Clem, Glenn, Mark, Clifford and Harry Anderson. A nephew Mark E. Anderson also preceded Norvel in death.Norvel''s survivors are:Sister: Margaret A.
