Orville W. A"HuppyA" Hupp age 97 of Toronto (Costonia), Ohio passed away Tuesday - May 4, 2010 at the Dixon Health Care Center - Wintersville, OhioHe was born February 17, 1913 in Monroe County, Ohio the son of the late William C. and Zulma Myers Hupp.Orville is a member of the Bray''s Chapel United Methodist Church - Costonia, Ohio. His other memberships include: Jefferson County Fox Chasers, Toronto Rod and Gun Club, Lifetime Member Toronto American Legion Post #86, Ohio Valley Combine Pigeon Club, Steel Valley C.B. Club.He is retired from the Titanium Metals Corp. of Toronto. He also worked for many years as the Sexton of Island Creek Cemetery and had served on the cemetery board of directors. He was also a self-employed coal hauler for many years.Orville is a U.S. Army W.W.II veteran having served in the Pacific Theatre of Operations.He was preceded in death by: Parents / 1st wife - Pauline Clendenning Hupp (1965) / 2nd wife - Kathleen Huff Hupp (1992) / brothers - Ralph, Mervin and Clyde HuppOrville''s survivors are:Wife: Ines A. Harvey Carter Hupp whom he married June 5, 1993Son: Billy Dean Hupp and wife Joyce of Toronto, OhioDaughter: Linda Spence of Toronto, OhioSister: Bessie Stock of Toronto, OhioGrandchildren: Lu Ellyn Dallas and husband Bill of Toronto, Ohio Dane Hupp and wife Beth of Steubenville, Ohio Janet Holmes and husband Ron of Toronto, Ohio Doug Spence and wife Kelly of Toronto, Ohio8 great-grandchildren / 5 great-great grandchildrenFriends and family will gather for visitation 2-4 and 7-9 Friday at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. Toronto. 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446.A celebration service of Orville''s life will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday - May 8th at the funeral home with the Reverend Frank Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at the Island Creek Cemetery.
