Patricia Elaine Frey

Patricia Elaine Frey age 55 of Columbia Station, OH passed away Wednesday April 1, 2026 at the Ames Family Hospice Westlake, OH. She was born July 11, 1970 in Steubenville, OH the daughter of the late Curtis and Carolyn (Russell) Frey. Patricia was a 1988 graduate of Jefferson Union High School and attended Jefferson Technical Community College. Tricia started a career in banking but later moved to the Cleveland area and worked the rest of her career tending to and loving the disabled. Tricia saw a need in the deaf community and started an in home care and day program for the deaf and disabled. All of her clients and staff at Just Like Home adored her. American Sign Language became her second language. Tricia was also well known for her charitable service to many. If there was a need, she would go above and beyond to help. Tricia also spent a few years as a volunteer coordinator for Cleveland Public Theater. Patricias family includes her daughter, Julia Frey of Columbia Station,OH; sisters, Cindy Kalogeras and husband Peter of Columbiana, OH and Diane Pirraglia and husband Michael of Dayton, OH and brother, Brandon Frey of Steubenville, OH. She also leaves nieces, Sheena Shurtz and Adrianne Knight and nephews, Jimmy Farris and Josh Pirraglia. All of which have fun and special memories of their sweet mother, sister and aunt. Tricia will always be remembered for her laugh, her love of crafts and games and especially for her warrior spirit as she battled breast cancer that metastasized to her bones. Even when giving up was her only choice, she refused to give up. She fought cancer up to her last breath. Tricia’s family would like to thank her wonderful care team at University Hospitals and the compassionate angels at Ames Hospice Center in Westlake, OH. Special thanks also go out to her dear friends Kelly Gallagher, Shelly Smith and Dorian Sufilka. Friends and family will gather for visitation from 11 AM to 1 PM April 9th at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto. Services will follow the visitation. Interment will follow at the Ft.
