Patricia Ann "Patty" Horvath, age 64 of Amsterdam, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Carroll Health Care Center in Carrollton.Born September 25, 1947 in Trenton, New Jersey, she is the daughter of Ralph Bulmer and the late Theresa (Johnson) Bulmer. Patty enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, and crafting. Before being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, she taught at the Lighted Schoolhouse Program. She also taught art at the Steubenville Firehouse Art Gallery, and owned a craft store in Toronto.In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by a brother Curtis Bulmer.Patty is survived by her husband, Matt Lee Horvath, whom she married October 17, 1969; her father Ralph Bulmer of San Diego, California; her daughter, Mrs. Kristine Baker and her husband Brandon of Bellbrook, Ohio; and grandchildren Katelinn Wilbert and Kira Baker, both of Bellbrook.Family and friends will gather for memorial visitation on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 P.
