Paul R. Howe - Age 82 - of Toronto, Ohio, died Thursday March 22, 2001 at the Carriage Inn - Steubenville, Ohio.
He was born April 7, 1918 in Pittsburgh, Pa. the son of the late James and Glennice Spade Howe.
He is a member of the Mount Mariah Baptist Church - New Alexandria, Ohio.
He is a 1936 graduate of Toronto High School.
He is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of W.W.II.
He is retired from the Carpenters Union Local #186 - Steubenville, Ohio. He was preceded in death by: Parents - First wife- Julia Donofrio Howe - Second wife - Rachel Everson Howe - Daughter - Patty Lou Howe - 2 Sisters - Gladys McClain and Viola Trasoline. Paul''s survivors are: Wife: Jean Scovel Leasure Howe of the home whom he married October 23, 1988. 2 Daughters: Mrs. Lynn ( Paula ) Chevalier of Toronto Mrs. Brian ( Margaret ) Monigold of Columbus, Ohio Step-Son: Kent Leasure and wife Kelly of Charlotte, North Carolina Step-Daughter: Mrs. Michael ( Beth ) Firm of Toronto 1 Sister: Alice Zdinak of Midland, Pa. Eight grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren There will be a private family visitation and funeral service with Pastor Robert Hanze officiating. Burial will be at the New Alexandria Cemetery, New Alexandria, Ohio Memorial contributions in memory of Paul may be made to: North River Avenue Church of Christ - 207 North River Avenue, Toronto, Ohio 43964 or Toronto High School Alumni Association - 102 N. Third Street, Toronto, Ohio 43964
