Paul F. Simpson, age 83 of Toronto, OH passed away suddenly Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH.

He was born March 28, 1932 in Toronto, OH the son of the late William and Frances (Grindle) Simpson.

Paul was a member of the Toronto American Legion Post# 86, Toronto Order of Eagles Aerie # 1276, former Toronto V.F.W. Post # 6906 and a former member of the Dyer Country Club of Toronto; He loved to golf; served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and was retired from the Weirton Steel Company after 33 years of employment.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Simpson; brothers, Alfred, Carl, Charles, Earl, Lee and William Simpson; sisters, Dora Costello, Fay Daughtery and Joann Simpson.

Paul is survived by his wife Barbara J. (Wood) Simpson whom he married January 20, 1956; sons, Tom W. (Sue) Simpson of Westerville, OH and Paul "PD" (Casey) Simpson of Toronto, OH; grandchildren, Ali (Tyler) Chiplinski of Streetsboro, OH and Reed Simpson of Toronto, OH; sister, Gayle Hannan of Hendersonville, NC.

Visitation hours for Paul will be held 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday, January 17th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH.

A celebration service of Paul's life will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 18th at the funeral home with the Reverend Tyler Bayless officiating. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery where the Toronto American Legion will present full graveside honors.
