Rachel I. Allen - Age 86 - of Toronto, died Monday January 28, 2002 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, Ohio.
She was born April 9, 1915 the daughter of the late John Scott and Josephine Myers Carson.
Rachel is a member of the First United Methodist Church - Toronto. She is also a 1933 Graduate of Toronto High School.
She is retired from the Toronto Pharmacy after 26 years of employment.
Rachel was preceded in death by her parents / Husband - George H. Allen who passed away in 1967 and whom she married January 26, 1934./ 2 Brothers - Orville and Harland Carson / 5 Sisters - Frances Mesler, Thelma McClain, Freda Webb, Evelyn Golden and Mildred Douds.
She is survived by two sons: Richard W. Allen and wife Delma of Toronto Norman L. Allen and wife Marie of Stratton 7 Grandchildren / 13 Great grandchildren Friends and family will be received for visitation 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday January 30, 2002 at Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main Street, Toronto, Ohio. 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446 A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday- January 31, 2002 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Reverend Kevin Rinkes officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Rachel may be made to the First United Methodist Church - P.O. Box 345 - Toronto, Ohio 43964
