Rachel A. Lamantia - Age 86 - of Toronto passed away Friday - March 16th at the Trinity Medical Center-West, Steubenville.She was born May 26, 1920 in Irondale, Ohio the daughter of the late Lloyd and Laura Love Dallas.Rachel was a member of the Friendship Guild of the Steubenville United Church of Christ, Toronto Senior Citizens and the Dyer Country Club of Toronto. She was also a graduate of the former Irondale High School where she had played on the Women''s Basketball Team. She had worked for the Homer Laughlin Pottery.Rachel was preceded in death by: Husband - Joseph T. Lamantia who passed away June 28, 1997 and whom she married September 18, 1943 / 4 Sisters: Roberta Hamilton, Marjorie Fagan, Jane Machkll and Joann Dallas.Her survivors are:Son: Joel T. Lamantia and wife Ruth of TorontoSister: Donna Essig and husband Jim of Canton, Ohio2 Grandsons: Chad Lamantia and wife Tricia of Weirton, W.Va.
