Ralph Eugene Donofrio, age 92 of Toronto, OH passed away peacefully at his home, Tuesday, February 27, 2018.

He was born January 29, 1926 in Toronto, OH.

Ralph was a member of the Saint Francis Roman Catholic Church of Toronto, OH; the Steel Valley Antique Automobile Club; the U.S. Navy Club and the Toronto Senior Citizens Club.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II as a Seaman First Class and retired from the Weir Cove Moving and Storage Company of Weirton, WV.

Ralph was a mechanic by occupation and loved to work on and restore antique automobiles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Margaret (Todino) Donofrio; wife, H. Elaine (Wasko) Donofrio August 26, 2016 whom he married June 21, 1968; grandson, Ralph Allen Flanigan;

Sisters, Beatrice Scarcella. Claudia Paules, Julia Howe; Adriana Harasimik and brother, Nick Donofrio.

Ralph is survived by his daughter, Mary Joy VanDyne of Steubenville, OH; grandson, Jay Flanigan and great-granddaughters, Sara and Emily Flanigan all of Cape Canaveral, FL.

Visitation hours for Ralph will be held from 4 to 8 P.M. Sunday, March 4th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH. Additional visitation will be held from 10:15 to 11 A.M. Monday, March 5th at the Saint Francis Roman Catholic Church, corner of Findley St. & Euclid Ave., Toronto, OH.

A Vigil Service will be held 4 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held 11 A.M. Monday at the Saint Francis Roman Catholic Church with celebrant Reverend Father Thomas Vennitti. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery where full military honors will be provided by the Toronto American Legion Honor Guard.

Ralph's family wishes to extend a special thanks to his caregivers for the great loving care they gave him and also to Charity Hospice for their care.

Memorial contributions in memory of Ralph may be offered to the Saint Francis Roman Catholic Church, 1224 N. River Ave., Toronto, OH 43964.
