Ralph Edward Phelps, age 85 of Ormond Beach , Florida passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at his home of natural causes.

He was born January 28, 1936 in Toronto the son of the late Forrest Phelps on September 27, 1989 and Grace (Meeks) Phelps on January 6, 2004

Ralph was a member of the Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Church of Ormond Beach, Florida; loved to fish, hunt and bowl. He was a graduate of Jefferson Union High School and had retired from the Champion Paper Co. of Houston, Texas as an operator and buyer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Joe Phelps on July 20, 1977; daughter, Pam Jo Phelps Lively on August 16, 1998; sister, Maxine Phelps on November 19, 2005 and a brother, Robert Phelps on December 4, 2000 and is survived by his wife, Claudia Juanita (Paules) Phelps whom he married July 5, 2013.

Visitation hours for Ralph will be held from 2 to 5 PM Sunday, May 2nd at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto with the Reverend Susan Clegg officiating.

A private interment will be held at the Toronto Union Cemetery.
