Ray A. A"GomerA" Phillips Jr. age 66 of Toronto passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at his home.Born June 2, 1940 in Steubenville, he is the son of the late Arthur Ray and Belle Juanita Ullom Phillips Sr. He is retired from the former Hancock Manufacturing Company in Toronto and was a member of the Toronto Rod and Gun Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie # 1276, and held a social membership with the Toronto V.F.W. Post 6906.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son Johnny Phillips.His survivors include his former wife, Ms. Susan K. (Cooper) Phillips of Weirton, W.Va; two daughters, Mrs. Diana Lynn Vitagliano and her husband John of Lakeland, Fla, and Miss Debbie Phillips and her boyfriend Danny Kain of Steubenville, Oh. a step-daughter, Miss Jamie Moore, and a step-son Eric J. Moore, both of Weirton, W.Va. ; a sister Mrs. Diana Drake and her husband Jim of California, Eleven Grandchildren, and seven Great-Grandchildren.Family and friends will gather for visitation on Thursday, May 31, 2007 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 P.M. at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. Toronto. 740-537-1234/800-588-1446.
