Obituary

Ray L. Riddle - Age 75 - of Toronto passed away Wednesday - May 30th at his home of natural causes.He was born May 14, 1932 in Jefferson County the son of the late William Orville who passed away in 1960 and Margaret Jane Jeffrey Riddle who passed away in 1973.Ray is a member and Elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Toronto. He is a 1950 graduate of the Jefferson Union (Edison Local) High School where he was an outstanding track and football athlete. He placed 5th in 1950 in the State of Ohio 100 yard dash. Also, during his high school football career, he scored six touchdowns in one game.Ray is a member of the Wednesday Morning Senior Golf group that plays at the Spring Hills Golf Club. He was an avid bowler at the Toronto Lanes in Toronto. He was also a trustee of the former Island Creek Presbyterian Church (Hill Top Presbyterian Church) of Toronto.He is a life member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen having served for 40 years as a bricklayer and stone mason.Ray was preceded in death by: Parents / Baby daughter - Karen Lynn Riddle who passed away in 1958 / Sister - June McConnell who passed away in 2004 / Brother - Austin Riddle who passed away in 2005.His survivors are:Wife: Bernice J. (Kugler) Riddle of the home whom he married November 10, 1951 (55 years)Son: Bruce Riddle and wife Beverly of Mt.
