Raymond Eugene "Raym" Ghrist, age 62 of Toronto passed away suddenly Thursday, November 26, 2020 at his home.

He was born April 29, 1958 in Steubenville the son of Ralph Lloyd Ghrist and Pauline Ghrist.

Raymond was a graduate of Jefferson Union High School and loved to repair old cars and go hunting

He retired from the Valley Converting Co. in Toronto after 31 years of service as a machine tender.

In addition to his parents Raymond was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph G. Ghrist; sister, Carolyn May Eddy and son-in-law, Jeremy Allard.

Raymond is survived by his daughters, Tiffany Lynn Ghrist and Amy Marie Allard both of Derry, N.H.; grandchildren, James and Hailey Allard; brothers, Maynard E. (Bunny) Ghrist, Donald S. Ghrist, Gary D. Ghrist and Daniel W. Ghrist all of Toronto, David L. Ghrist of Brilliant and George A. Ghrist of Steubenville.

A memorial visitation for Raymond will be held  2-4 PM Tuesday, December 1st at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto.

NOTE: Masks and social distancing is required at the funeral home. The family requests that visitors not linger during visitation.
