Rebecca Anne " Becky"  Hazencomb, age 86 of Steubenville, OH passed away surrounded by her family at her home Saturday, March 5, 2016.

She was born December 31, 1929 in Steubenville, OH the daughter of the late John and Reva (Moore) Campbell.

Rebecca was a member and Elder of the First Christian Disciples of Christ Church, Steubenville, OH; member of the church's C.W.F. and the Christian Women United of the Steubenville area; was a graduate of Steubenville High School and loved to bowl and play cards and loved to cook especially for others.

She was previously employed as a newspaper delivery person for the Steubenville Herald Star.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William R. Hazencomb who passed away in 1991 and whom she married September 12, 1947; brothers, William and Richard Campbell and Joseph Mulholland; sisters, Virginia Lund, Reva Walter Poe and Audrey Neeley.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara A. (Daniel) Speaker and Beverly S. (Eddie) Smith all of Steubenville, OH; grandchildren, Kelly (Todd) Leasure of Steubenville, OH, Jason (Alisha) Speaker of Steubenville, OH, Reverend Shawn (Beverly) Smith of Weirton, WV and Matthew Smith of Steubenville, OH; great grandchildren, Daniel, Drake and Dylan Leasure, Isaac and Jacob Smith, Zoe, Olivia and Wyatt Speaker.

Visitation hours for Rebecca will be held 1-3 and 6-8 Tuesday, March 8th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH

A celebration service of Rebecca's life will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 9th at the funeral home with the Reverend Shawn Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, OH.
