Rebecca Jean "Becky" Thornberry, age 65 of Toronto, OH passed away Sunday, November 4, 2017 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH.

She was born October 21, 1952 in Steubenville, OH

Rebecca attended the Riverview United Methodist Church, OH where she was involved in the Sunday school program.

She is retired from the Toronto City School District having taught 7th and 8th grades at the Karaffa Middle School.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, James and Olive (Burchfield) Rawson and her husband, Charles A. Thornberry in 2005 whom she married March 25, 1977.

She is survived by her son, Gregory C. (Christina) Thornberry of Toronto, OH; granddaughters, Piper Angelina Thornberry and Emma Isabella Thornberry; sister, Linda (Carl) Goodrich of Cedar Hill, TX; brother, Tim (Pan Yang) Rawson of Plano, TX and nephew Mark Goodrich of Cedar Hill, TX; sisters-in-law, Patricia (James) Lendio of Palmdale, CA and Barbara Thornberry of Newell, WV; brother-in-law, Michael Thornberry of Wellsville, OH; niece, Andrea (Andy) Beshuk of Jefferson City, MO;  several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours for Rebecca will be held 1 – 3 P.M. Friday, November 10th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH followed by a celebration of Rebecca's life 3 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Rd Kovacik officiating.
