Richard Ellsworth Vantilburg age 67 of Massillon, OH passed away unexpectedly Sunday May 12, 2024 at his residence.

He was born November 3, 1956 in Steubenville, OH the son of the late Beatrice Katherine (Holmes) Vantilburg in 2001. Also preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas H. Vantilburg in 2010 and Robert E. Barker in 2012

Richard was a 1977 graduate of Toronto High School; was a outstanding woodworker; loved fishing and had been a Boy Scout.

He is survived by a daughter, April Vantilburg Conn ; grandson, Dakota Conn; sisters, Mary Kay Cutlip and Margaret "Sis" (Clifford) Knight and his sidekick Rascal.

Visitation hours for Richard will be held from 2 to 4 pm Saturday, May 18th followed by a celebration of life service at 4 pm with Pastor Rob Minto officiating. Internment will be held at a later date at the convenience of Richard's family.

Memorial contributions in memory of Richard may be directed to the donor's choice of charities.
